Catholic Ashram School Bhurkunda was started with a clear vision of imparting a value-based education with the technological advancement to the students at an affordable cost, having its aim to nourish and nurture the potentials and aspirations of each individual with love and care.

Catholic Ashram School Bhurkunda was started with a clear vision of imparting a value-based education with the technological advancement to the students at an affordable cost, having its aim to nourish and nurture the potentials and aspirations of each individual with love and care.

I am delighted to state that this school has been established to meet the special needs of the minorities of nearby areas in order that they will not have to move to the cities in search of quality education. I firmly believe that every student is a unique gift of the Almighty, blessed with the special talents and abilities. Loyola school with its well set up infrastructure, conducive and big class rooms, IT and computer lab with internet facility with solar system, composite lab, maths lab, huge library with varieties of books, is ready and dedicated to trace out that uniqueness of the students.

Besides academic excellence, the school is committed not only to inculcate in students, a strong ethical values and team work but also ready to foster discipline, confidence, clarity in thoughts and discerning ability to achieve their goals by providing a platform in terms of the extracurricular activities to think out of the box in order to be innovative and creative. So that they grow in the virtues of love, cooperation, generosity and magnanimity.

The school also provides a conducive environment for teaching learning process with the beautiful natural surroundings. Peaceful atmosphere keeps the young minds away from the unnecessary disturbances.

Mission

Our mission is to form young men and women for others who distinguish themselves by their Academic Excellence, Sound Character, Spirit of Selfless Service and Leadership Qualities.The aim of the school is to train its students in the finest tradition of Jesuit education. Jesuit education acknowledges God as the author of all reality, all truth and all knowledge. The school aims to impart a sound intellectual formation which includes a growing ability to reason reflectively, logically and critically. It aims at the development of the whole person in which process the criterion of excellence applied to all areas of school life that contributes to the total growth of each student as a responsible member of the school, community and of the larger society of the state and of our country. The dedicated Staff, Non-teaching staff and co-workers play a vital role in the formation of the students in accordance with the visionary spirit of the Management thereby strengthening the original vision of the founder St Ignatius of Loyola.

Vision

Accepting Jesus Christ as our Teacher and Model and being rooted in the charisma of the Society of Jesus, Loyola School, Sitagarha has opted for educational apostolate and aim at integral growth of students. We form them to be men and women for others, to become persons of conscience, competence, compassion and commitment to build a just and humane society.
